You may also be asked to provide some personal information (such as your name, your address, telephone numbers, etc) in order to download feature of our software.

You will have an opportunity to decline such requests.

We collect your unique user identifier and your location through GPS, WiFi, or wireless network triangulation in order to obtain your location for the purposes of providing our Service. We collect the location of your designated Location Alerts to provide notifications when arrive and leave special Place.

The personal information will only be used for the specific purpose when requested, and this information will not be used by Family Locator for any other purpose.

We may collect your information such as your user name and a photo if you chose to have a photo associated with your account.

If you want to add a child or family member’s name to your account, we collect the child or family member’s name.

We may collect additional information from a parent in order to obtain verifiable parental consent to allow a child to use our Service.

We collect information when you message other members of your Family through use of the service.

We may also retain any messages you send to us.

We use this information to operate, maintain, and provide to you the features and functionality of the Service and to communicate directly with you, such as to send you alerts on the movements of your Family members.

2. The usage of the information collected

We use the information collected from you to identify you as our user identification to use our Software.

We also use the information collected to improve our software.

We may provide information about our software, its updates and support to you through notification.

This may include new product information, special offers, or invitations to participate in market research.

Sometimes, personal information (such as your name, your address, telephone numbers, etc) is requested in order to download feature of our software.

This information will only be requested and collected with your consent and you will have an opportunity to decline such requests.

When provided, the personal information will be strictly used for the specific purpose when requested, and it will not be used by Family Locator for any other purpose.

At Family Locator, we do not knowingly collect or maintain information about children under the age of 13.

We encourage parents and legal guardians to take an active role in their children's online and mobile activities and interests.

If you install Family Locator software to the electronic devices (such as smartphones and Pads) of your children, you shall take full responsibility for the use of the software.

We keep your information protected by a Secure Server and Firebase Authentication. We utilize reasonably, lawfully permitted and appropriate physical, technical, and administrative procedures and efforts to protect the information we collect.

We also take reasonable precaution to protect your personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorized access.

5. Deletion of data

You can delete your data at any time through our app. Please follow the below steps to delete your data completely from our end

Step 1:
- Login to the app if you have not logged in or logged out before, then the Settings icon will be visible to you on the Home Location screen, at the top right corner, open the settings.

Step 2:
- Tap on the Delete you data option, and A dialog will be open, Please tap on the YES, DELETE MY DATA option on that dialog

Your data mentioned above will be deleted from our server, your local data will be deleted, and you will be logged out from the app.

Here, please note that this action is not reversible, you need to sign up again.

6. Amendment to the privacy policy

Family Locator reserves the right to amend its privacy policy from time to time without notice.

We encourage visitors or users of our software to frequently check this page for any changes to our Privacy Policy.

Your continued access to the Website or use of our software after any change in this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such a change.
